Hey, I'm Josii.
Yo, welcome. I'm a creator out of Toronto who's genuinely obsessed with fantasy books and anime - like, it's not a hobby at this point, it's a whole personality trait. My friends have learned not to ask what I'm reading unless they've got 30 minutes to spare for me to explain why this random magic system is actually peak fiction.
Here's the thing though - I don't just consume this stuff, I study it. What makes a magic system actually satisfying? Why does one power scaling feel earned while another feels like the author just made it up on the spot? How do the best worldbuilders make you forget you're reading fiction? That's what I'm here to figure out and share.
I'm deep in the Sanderson rabbit hole - Cosmere is genuinely insane - plus James Islington, Evan Winter, and basically anything where the author actually thought about how magic would shape a society. Lord of the Mysteries lives rent-free in my head (if you know, you know). Anime-wise, Naruto and Bleach raised me. Chakra vs Reiatsu debates? I'm there.
I started making content because I had too many thoughts and nowhere to put them. Turns out a lot of people were thinking the same things - they just wanted someone to say it first. So that's me now. The guy who's gonna rant about Allomancy for 15 minutes and somehow make it interesting.
If you're into fantasy, anime, or just stories that actually respect your intelligence - you're in the right place. Let's talk about what makes fiction hit different.
